Public Transport – We understand the X21/X22 Newcastle to Ashington & Newbiggin pass Toby House. The bus stop you need is Bomarsund Earth Balance. Please check out www.arrivabus.co.uk for further details.
To get to Toby House from the South – Follow the A1 north from Newcastle upon Tyne to Seaton Burn, take the A19 signposted towards Cramlington then pick up the A189 north. Follow the A189 past signs for Blyth then take A1147 road to the left signposted to Earth Balance. Follow this road for approx. 1 mile.
Toby House is located on the righthand side. You will pass a sign on right for Sleekburn HTU Kitchen Garden, we are the next turning on the right signposted EARTH BALANCE, access to Redress, MPA Studios and the Toby Henderson Trust. When you arrive in car park next to the lake, you will see Toby House straight in front of you.
To get to Toby House from the North – Follow A189 south from Ashington. Turn off A189 signposted to Bedlington, then follow signs for A1147 to Earth Balance. Follow this road for approx. 1 mile.
